Inclusive sailing: your Club to enjoy the sea on the Costa Brava
The Club’s dinghy sailing activities are open to everyone regardless of their social or physical condition. To make this possible with all guarantees, we put at your disposal the necessary adapted boats and equipment.
To try it, to improve your technique and even to enjoy it all year round, we invite you to join the Club’s proposals.
If you want a tailor-made activity for you or for a group, we can also help you.
Boats suited to your needs: Access (1 – 2 places) and Raquero (up to 6 places)
Available activities: Dinghy sailing courses, boat rental, guided routes to try it, activities for groups and subscriptions to enjoy sailing whenever you want.
- Facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility: entrances, changing rooms with toilets and showers, customer service office.
- Stable individual and collective boats, unsinkable with simplified maneuvering.
- Crane to embark in the simplest way.
- Team of instructors certified by the Catalan Sailing Federation
The Club’s Sailing School was recognized in 2008 as one of the 19 Accessible Tourist Destinations in Catalonia by the Department of Tourism of the Generalitat and is, in fact, the only Sailing School recognized with this distinction in the whole autonomous region.
From 2007, more than 650 users with some degree of functional diversity have tested sailing at the Club.
During this period, the Club has hosted two Spanish Adapted Sailing Championships and three Catalonian Championships, which have made the Club a reference center for Adapted Sailing, both at state and regional level.
We are all equal in the water. This is why the Club’s accessible sailing project works from an integrating framework. Thus, anyone, regardless of their social or physical condition, can access the dinghy sailing activities regularly organized by the Club’s Sailing School.
Everyone has the right to enjoy the sea and the health benefits of practicing sports. For this reason, the promotion of sailing among people with functional diversity and/or special public (elderly people, reduced mobility, at risk of social exclusion…) is a priority objective for the Club.

Initiation Program (March 1st to October 31st):

- Sea Baptism – Introduction to navigation – 1 day
- Sailing Courses – inclusion in regular activity – 5 days
- Activities for groups and Open House Days for entities – 1 day
- Inclusive Summer Camp: Inclusive activity within the Club’s Summer Camps – 10 days.
Sports Training Program:

- Subscription – We offer the possibility to continue learning with activities such as group trips, access to sessions for subscribers, participation in concentrations. Inclusion in the regular activity.

- Collective boats: from 3 to 6 users. Adaptable according to needs.
- Individual/double boats: 1 or 2 users. Accessible, unsinkable, and easily maneuverable boat.
- Crane: Facilitates the boats access to people with reduced mobility.
In the case of a person with functional disability, they must be accompanied by a volunteer from their environment if necessary.
If this is not possible, the Sailing School may assign one to the activity at an extra cost.
