These meadows \u2014such as <em>Posidonia oceanica<\/em> and <em>Cymodocea nodosa<\/em>\u2014 are essential ecosystems for marine biodiversity, contributing to water quality, protecting the coastline and serving as vital habitats.<br><br><strong>Ban on anchoring over seagrass meadows<\/strong><\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The main measure introduced by the new Royal Decree is a general ban on anchoring vessels on these meadows, with the aim of preventing their deterioration. This regulation requires greater attention when anchoring and reinforces the need to be aware of protected areas before dropping anchor.<br><br><strong>Commitment of the Club and the sector<\/strong><\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>In response to this new regulation, the Club N\u00e0utic l\u2019Escala, together with national organisations representing ports and nautical service companies, is working to promote measures that balance nautical activity with the conservation of the marine environment. The goal is to ensure responsible navigation while preserving our surroundings.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p><br><strong>Check seagrass
