{"id":14836,"date":"2020-02-10T12:35:52","date_gmt":"2020-02-10T11:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nauticescala.com\/news\/agenda-2020\/"},"modified":"2020-05-06T12:41:32","modified_gmt":"2020-05-06T10:41:32","slug":"2020-agenda-events","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/en\/news\/2020-agenda-events\/","title":{"rendered":"2020 agenda and events"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cruise Sailing<\/h4>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The highlight of the calendar for this year\u2019s cruise sailing section will without doubt be the <strong>J70 Championship of Catalonia<\/strong>.  The monotype competition will take place from 19th to 21st June and will bring together the best of the Catalan fleet\u2026 excitement guaranteed!<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Also making a comeback are the historical events of the Club, such as the<strong> Escalagde Regatta<\/strong> (21st to 23rd May), the <strong>Comodor Cup \u2013 Memorial Nandu Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong> (2nd and 3rd May), the arrival of the <strong>Tramuntana Route<\/strong> (3rd and 4th July) and the third phase of the <strong>Interclubs Empord\u00e0<\/strong> (10th and 11th October).<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>There is also room for leisure sailing in this section. The <strong>Sailing Meetings<\/strong> will continue to take place and all lovers of cruise sailing are invited to come and enjoy sailing together month after month.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fishing<\/h4>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The fishing section is still one of the most active ones in the Club, with a full calendar of Nautivela sponsored meetings for fun fishing with friends. This year, the <strong>Nautivela-B\u00e9n\u00e9teau Social Fishing League<\/strong> is organising six meetings dedicated to different species and formats for all tastes.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Notable among them is the <strong>Barracuda Tour<\/strong>, which will take place on 25th April with a very special prize: the winner gets to take part in the B\u00e9n\u00e9teau Barracuda Tour, the international annual competition that is organised by the French boat builder.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dinghy Sailing<\/h4>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Fans of dinghy sailing also have a diary full of activities to suit everyone. In the competition section, this year we are holding the <strong>Regatta Masters l\u2019Escala<\/strong> of Laser Master, on 21st and 22nd March; the <strong>Costa Brava Sailing Meeting<\/strong>, on 4th and 5th April; the <strong>Atena Regatta<\/strong>, which is celebrated by the l\u2019Escala Festa Major between 5th and 6th September and the Optimist\u2019s <strong>Mar d\u2019Emp\u00faries Regatta<\/strong>, on 26th and 27th September.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>All of these events are combined with the <strong>Guided Routes<\/strong> and the classic <strong>Open Regatta<\/strong>. Opportunities to meet up, sail and enjoy the Mar d\u2019Empuries Sea to the full!<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Social Events<\/h4>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>On land and at sea\u2026 the Club is also a place to have fun on land! That\u2019s why the 2020 social calendar contains activities in which the most important thing to do is have a good time with friends. For example, the classic <strong>Members\u2019 Day<\/strong>, which will take place on 1st August and where in addition to having dinner under the stars at night you can also enjoy water sports during the day.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>On 11th July the <strong>Popular Barbecue<\/strong> is back to welcome the summer with a themed evening and dinner, and on 22nd August, the Club\u2019s most musical date, the <strong>Live Music Concert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>In addition, the Annual General Meeting of Members will take place on 18th April.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conferences<\/h4>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The different areas of the Club are also places for learning and sharing experiences.  That is why we have planned to hold a variety of conferences open to everyone.
