It&#8217;s a good moment, then, to take care of both the port and the boats that moor during the winter.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>In this sense, from the Club we continue to work on the maintenance and improvement plan for the facilities and services so that when you return, you will find it as you need it.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And you? are you ready<\/h3>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n                            <div class=\"accordion-block\">\n                    <div id=\"accordion\" class=\"accordion\">\n                                                                            <div class=\"card\">\n                                <div class=\"card-header\">\n                                    <h3>\n                                        <a href=\"#\" class=\"collapsed\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapse-01\" aria-expanded=\"true\"><i class=\"ico-opener\">&nbsp;<\/i>Keep your boat in the water in the best conditions<\/a>\n                                    <\/h3>\n                                <\/div><!-- end card-header -->\n                                <div id=\"collapse-01\" class=\"collapse\">\n                                                                    <div class=\"card-body\">\n\n                                        \n                                            \n                                                \n                                                    <p>If you plan to stop using your boat for a few weeks or months, but you want to leave it in the water ready for the next outing, at the Club it will be in good hands.<\/p>\n<p>However, <strong>it is advisable to follow the next tips so that you find it in the best conditions when you return:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Properly moor the boat. The Club puts at your disposal the appropriate land mooring ropes equipped with impact attenuators and safety systems in order to avoid any type of damage as much as possible. If you detect any anomalies <a href=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/en\/contact\/\">contact us<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Place the appropriate sized fenders and ensure that they are at the correct pressure if they are inflatable. There should be a minimum of four fenders per side and if you notice that they often deflate, they need to be replaced.<\/li>\n<li>Check that your boat keeps the correct distance from the dock. Take into account that when there is low pressure the sea level rises and boats tend to get closer to the dock. You should also add to this factor the effects that strong winds and turbulence of the water inside the sports dock can produce.\n<ul>\n<li>Boats between 8 and 14 metres long \u2013 minimum 2 m.<\/li>\n<li>Boats between 14 and 24 m long \u2013 minimum 3 m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Take into account that when the level of the sea rises due to low pressure, the boats tend to get closer to the dock; add to this the turbulence of the water and the effects of the wind inside the dock.<\/li>\n<li>Empty bilge water and dirty water tanks. This service is available at the Gas Station and is free to all Club users.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a sailboat and you don\u2019t plan to use it during some time, it is advisable to remove the sails, especially the bow ones. If not, sails and covers must be secured.<\/li>\n<li>Remove awnings to prevent wear and tear.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a cover to protect the open cockpit of your boat, you need to put a stick in the middle or some system to prevent the water from accumulating in it and stop it from ending up inside the boat.<\/li>\n<li>It is advisable to check your boat at least once a month and always before a bad weather episode.<\/li>\n<li>In the event of a storm, always access the boat accompanied by the Club\u2019s marine security team.
