Today, Monday October 10, the 263 sailors of the ILCA Master class have completed two more races on their second day of competition in the Sea of Emp\u00faries, L\u2019Escala \u2013 Spain.egona jornada de competici\u00f3 al Mar d\u2019Emp\u00faries.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\t<div class=\"offset-section\">\n\t    <div class=\"video-player\">\n\t        <div class=\"video-holder\">\n\t            <div class=\"video-element\" data-id=\"kwvm3kvgdOE\" id=\"video-01\"><\/div>\n\t        <\/div><!-- end video-holder -->\n\t    <\/div><!-- end video-player -->\n\t<\/div><!-- end offset-section -->\t\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Once again, the weather has delayed the start of the races, this time until 2:00 p.m. Finally, they sailed the first race with seven knots, an intensity that increased to 8-10 throughout the day.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>With a total of four sailed races, the Spanish Xavi Tous and Alfredo Berm\u00fadez lead the ILCA 6 Apprentice Master fleet (30-44 years old) followed by the Italian Gianmario Broccia. In the women&#8217;s division, the three provisional places of honor are for the Italian Elisa Boschin, the Spanish M\u00edriam Carles-Tolra and the Greek Georgia Cheimona.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>    <figure class=\"image-banner\">\t\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2022-nauticescala-2022-eurilca-master-europeans-championships-c-thom-touw-411.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n\t<\/figure><!-- end image-banner -->\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The French Sebastien Baudier, the Spanish M\u00f2nica Az\u00f3n and the British Ian Gregory are the first ILCA 6 Masters (45 to 54 years old). Az\u00f3n leads also the women&#8217;s fleet of this division followed by the Spanish Marina S\u00e1nchez and the German Alexandra Behrens.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Among the ILCA 6 Grand Masters (55 to 64 years old), two French are at the top, Gilles Coadou and Luigi Santocanale, followed by the Belgian Pieter Van Laer, while among the women the French Helene and Isabelle Viazzo are leaders with the Swedish Ann Loren in third place.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>    <figure class=\"image-banner\">\t\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2022-nauticescala-2022-eurilca-master-europeans-championships-c-thom-touw-400.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n\t<\/figure><!-- end image-banner -->\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The British Max Hunt is first of the ILCA 6 Great Grand Master (65 to 74 years old), followed by the Australian Jeff Loosemore and the Spanish Miguel Noguer. The French Isabelle Arnoux and Evelyne Ferrat are the first females in the fleet.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The Australian Peter Heywood, the American Peter Seidenberg and the Dutchman Henk Wittenberg lead the ILCA 6 Legend fleet (over 75 years).<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>In the ILCA 7 Apprentice Master class, the Slovenian Matej Vali, the Italian Lorenzo Cerretelli and the Canadian Ian Elliot are on the top; while the Greek Dimitrios Theodorakis, the American Peter Hurley and the Spanish Javier Ech\u00e1varri are leaders in the Master division.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>    <figure class=\"image-banner\">\t\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2022-nauticescala-2022-eurilca-master-europeans-championships-c-thom-touw-322.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n\t<\/figure><!-- end image-banner -->\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The Spanish Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Van der Ploeg is the first ILCA 7 Grand Master, followed by the Canadians Allan Clark and Andrew Roy.
