{"id":65304,"date":"2024-03-02T19:22:08","date_gmt":"2024-03-02T18:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/noticies\/lescala-coastal-rowing-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-03-05T15:45:31","modified_gmt":"2024-03-05T14:45:31","slug":"lescala-coastal-rowing-2024","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/en\/news\/lescala-coastal-rowing-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Nearly thirty rowers in the II L&#8217;Escala Coastal Rowing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today, Saturday 2nd March, the second edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.remcatalunya.cat\/ca\/noticies\/regata-beach-sprint-l-escala-2-de-marc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L&#8217;Escala Coastal Rowing<\/a> regatta took place in L&#8217;Escala, organised by the Catalan Rowing Federation and the Club N\u00e0utic L&#8217;Escala with the collaboration of the General Secretariat for Sport of the Catalan Government, the Costa Brava Tourist Board, the Girona Provincial Council, Ports de la Generalitat and L&#8217;Escala Town Council.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Nearly thirty rowers from all over Catalonia took part in the event, which was the first Beach Sprint competition to be held in Catalonia. This discipline, which will be Olympic at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028, proposes a 500-metre course between buoys, starting and finishing from the beach.
