Around 106 sailors from various parts of the Catalan coast took part in the event, organized by Club N\u00e0utic L\u2019Escala on behalf of the Catalan Sailing Federation and with the collaboration of L\u2019Escala Town Council.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Highlight  regata Mar d&#039;Emp\u00faries primer dia.\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UCrw0r7VPIE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s session began with unstable weather. An early morning storm forced the postponement of the races and kept the fleet ashore for most of the morning. The wind, coming from the northeast (gregal), was irregular and shifting, requiring patience from both the Race Committee and the sailors. Eventually, conditions improved and three races were held for the ILCA 7 and 420 classes, while the ILCA 6 and ILCA 4 fleets completed two races.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>    <figure class=\"image-banner\">\t\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-nauticescala-42-2000x1008.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n\t<\/figure><!-- end image-banner -->\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Sunday brought more stable conditions. The sun was out from early on and the garb\u00ed wind gradually picked up, offering optimal sailing conditions. This allowed four more races for the ILCA 7 and 420 classes, and three for the ILCA 6 and ILCA 4. The day was marked by steady winds, ranging from 8 to 14 knots, and by the competitiveness among the sailors, who were able to showcase their skills in the waters off L\u2019Escala.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Highlight Mar d&#039;Emp\u00faries dia 2\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Nq8IQUph7bI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>With a total of seven races held over the weekend, the ILCA 7 category delivered an intense and closely fought competition. Victory went to Joan Fargas, who maintained consistency throughout all the races. Second place went to Guillem Dengra, while Guillem de Llanos completed the podium with a strong performance.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>    <figure class=\"image-banner\">\t\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-nauticescala-278-2000x1008.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n\t<\/figure><!-- end image-banner -->\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>The CN Cambrils fleet dominated the ILCA 6 category, taking all three podium spots. \u00c0lvar Vila secured a convincing win, followed by F\u00e8lix Ramos and Iker M\u00fagica\u2014the latter, last year\u2019s overall winner, once again demonstrated his high level.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>    <figure class=\"image-banner\">\t\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nauticescala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-nauticescala-133-2000x1008.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n\t<\/figure><!-- end image-banner -->\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>Young sailor Cl\u00e0udia Mart\u00ed from CN Vilanova led the ILCA 4 category, showing great consistency throughout the races. In second place, Nera Obeso from CN L\u2019Escala shone as a local rising star, while Genoveva Vaquero completed the podium with a commendable performance.<\/p>\n<section class=\"article-section\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n<p>In the 420 category, the duo of Bruno Garcia and \u00c0lex Camps from CN El Bal\u00eds claimed victory with authority.
