We present the first Club Nàutic L’Escala’s paella contest! The contest will be held on May 24th and aims to recognize the best paella cooked during the meeting. Will you join us?
Participants: Members or users of the Club organized in groups of up to 15 people. Registration is done through the Club’s web form and the deadline is May 17, 2025.
Registration: Price per group according to the number of people (20 € up to 5 people, 40 € up to 10 people, 60 € up to 15 people).
Cooking spaces: Social headquarters place (next to the restaurant) with spaces assigned by lottery. Each group must bring their own cooking equipment.
Modality: Preparation of paella with gas fire in the space dedicated to the contest. Pre-cooked ingredients allowed, except rice.
Lunch: The organization will provide tables, chairs, plates, cutlery, napkins, glasses, water and coca de San Juan. Each group must bring the rest of the items.
- 10:00 am: Opening and reception.
- 10:15 am: Assignment of spaces and material delivery.
- 1:30 pm: Delivery of paellas to the jury.
- 4:30 pm: Announcement of the verdict and award ceremony.
The group leader must be an active member or user of the Club and be the one who registers.
A registration fee is established per group based on the number of people in each group:
- Group up to 5 people: 20 €
- Group up to 10 people: 40 €
- Group up to 15 people: 60 €
- Groups of more than 15 people: Consult.
No registration will be accepted without the corresponding payment.
The deadline to register is May 17, 2025. Any changes or cancellations must be notified before this date.
Prizes: for the 3 best paellas and for the best presentation.
