We take care of you and our environment, will you help us?
The Club has implemented an integrated Quality and Environmental Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EMAS), together with a Code of Ethics and a Quality and Environmental Policy aimed at preserving and protecting the marina and its surroundings. You can also consult the Club’s Environmental Statement.
During the months with the highest influx of vessels, you will find mooring buoys available so that you can enjoy the sea while showing the utmost respect for the environment.
As is customary, anchoring is regulated in certain areas of the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park, as well as in some areas of L’Escala, with the aim of protecting areas where Posidonia seagrass is present along the Costa Brava.
In free anchoring areas, please note that it is prohibited to anchor on seagrass meadows (such as Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa). Consult the map identifying these seagrassmeadows.
Club Nàutic l’Escala is located in the heart of the Costa Brava, between three natural parks. Find out which areas are protected and review their recommendations:
