The CNEV Esparron sailors obtained once again the overall victory in the Double-handed category of the competition co-organized by the Club Nàutic l’Escala and RS Veleros, the exclusive distributor of Weta trimarans in Spain.
The regatta was held between the 2nd and 4th of September in l’Escala. Three days of competition and 10 races celebrated under excellent conditions. On Friday and Saturday, the seven Weta trimarans enjoyed winds of 60-70 between 14 and 17 knots of intensity and a thermal of up to 12 during the last day.
Landier and Etienne signed an impeccable performance, with nine partial victories. Thanks to this, they led the ranking with a total of eight points and up to 11 points ahead of the seconds, Estela Requena and Carlos Virgili from CN Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
