ECONàutic.cat – Recreational boating, the first guide to responsible boating
Ports de Catalunya – ACPET, an association of which the Club is a member, presents the new guide ECONàutic.cat-Recreational boating, which promotes good practices for environmentally sustainable and respectful navigation with other users and the environment.
The publication, which can be consulted in booklet format in Catalan on the website www.econautic.cat, consists of 23 sheets giving advice on responsible behaviour for sailors in port and on the open sea.
With a first-person approach and illustrations to make it easier to read, ECONàutic aims to become an essential tool for any sailor who wants to reduce their impact on the environment.
This initiative, launched on 31 July, marks a turning point in environmental awareness and the promotion of respectful sailing in the nautical sector in Catalonia.
Responsible sailing contributes:

- To the conservation of biodiversity and the health of the oceans, which are fundamental for sustainable fishing.
