2026: Facilities Ready for the New Season

Club Nàutic l’Escala continues working to ensure that all facilities offer maximum comfort, safety and quality at the start of the new season. As part of the 2025–2026 Maintenance Plan, several key actions have been scheduled to enhance user experience and reinforce the care of our port environment.

Among the actions planned for 2026, the following stand out:

  1. Signage and orientation: Improved signage at the entrance of the pontoons to make access more intuitive and safer.
  2. Energy efficiency and lighting: New LED lighting in the parking area, improving visibility and night-time safety while reducing energy consumption.
  3. Mooring safety: Comprehensive review of mooring lines and anchoring systems, essential to ensure the safety of boats and the durability of moorings.

The Maintenance Plan also focuses on sustainability and environmental protection:

  • More efficient recycling areas: Deep cleaning of ecological islands and updated signage and painting for better organisation and use.
  • Responsible waste management: Reinforcement of selective waste collection with special containers for contaminated waste (absorbents and polluted containers).
  • More efficient lighting in key areas: Replacement of luminaires with LED in the Mirador and boiler room.
  • Environmental improvements at the service station: Replacement of the hydrocarbon separator filter, internal maintenance of inspection covers and measures to reduce odours.
  • Cleaning of the harbour basin: Removal of accumulated debris to improve water quality and local marine habitat.

The plan also includes actions to improve access and ease of use:

  • Review of access ramps and steps on pontoons H, I, J and K.
  • Improvements to restrooms and changing rooms (monoblock shower taps, adjustment of a men’s sanitary fixture).
  • At the Sailing School: repair of the adapted entrance door and improvements to the access path to the EDV area.
  • At the service station: reorganisation of the jetty staircase and islet to improve safety and comfort.

To enhance user comfort and improve the overall image of the port, several actions have been planned:

  • Renewal of benches and improvement of the square, creating a more pleasant and welcoming space.
  • Enhancement of landscaping, with maintenance work and new plantings that provide visual quality and well-being to the area.
