The quality of the facilities remains one of Club Nàutic l’Escala’s key priorities. For this reason, a new 2026-2027 Maintenance and Improvement Plan will be implemented over the coming months, including actions across the marina, service buildings, Sailing School and various sporting and port infrastructures.

The objective of this plan is to continue providing modern, safe and efficient facilities that meet the needs of members, berth holders, sporting activities and the wide range of events hosted by the Club throughout the year.

Marina Facilities Improvements

Key projects include the gradual renewal of dock utility pedestals, inspections of mooring systems, chains and shackles, improvements to dock access points, and the replacement of worn components on walkways and pontoons. Preventive maintenance will also be carried out on water, electricity and pumping systems.

Greater Security and Enhanced Connectivity

The Club will continue investing in technology and security through upgrades to CCTV systems, access control improvements, new security cameras, renewal of the telephone exchange system and improvements to IT and communications infrastructure. Enhancements will also be made to the Club app, activity booking systems and digital user management tools.

Sailing School and Nautical Activities Centre

The Sailing School will continue to be one of the main areas of investment. Planned improvements include changing rooms, classrooms, workshops, outdoor areas and access points, as well as upgrades to sports infrastructure, slipways and navigation support equipment. Various technical systems will also be renewed to ensure the smooth operation of sporting and training activities.

Slipway Area: New Services and Improvements

The slipway area will continue to evolve with projects aimed at improving safety, signage, access control and user services. These include new information panels, service points, improvements to boat cleaning areas, landscaping works and the reorganisation of surrounding spaces.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

The plan includes investments designed to improve the energy efficiency of the facilities, including LED lighting upgrades, energy consumption monitoring, photovoltaic energy production, replacement of service vehicles with hybrid or electric alternatives, and additional measures to strengthen the marina’s environmental management.

Buildings and Common Areas Maintenance

Painting works, façade renovations, carpentry maintenance, urban furniture improvements, landscaping, signage and social spaces upgrades will also be carried out to further improve the appearance and functionality of the Club’s facilities and common areas.

This extensive programme reflects Club Nàutic l’Escala’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, user safety and high-quality services throughout the year.
