Club Nàutic l’Escala has once again renewed the Blue Flag distinction, an international recognition that certifies environmental quality, safety, sustainable management, and excellence in port services.

This award, granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) through ADEAC (Association for Environmental and Consumer Education), highlights the continuous work carried out throughout the year to integrate environmental criteria into port management and the activities taking place there.

Actions and projects that reinforce the distinction

The renewal of the Blue Flag is the result of a series of concrete actions continuously promoted by the Club, including:

  • Efficient resource management, with monitoring of energy consumption and photovoltaic energy generation at the port.

  • Selective waste collection systems and waste management, both in the facilities and in nautical activities.

  • Accessible environmental information for members and users, through information panels, educational materials and the Responsible Port section on the website.

  • Environmental education and awareness initiatives linked to events, sports activities and projects such as MedFoto or Nature Week.

These measures support progress towards a responsible port model, aligned with sustainability values and respect for the coastline.
