Communiqué No. 9 – COVID-19

Today, Monday, June 15, the health region of Girona has passed to Phase 3 of the de-escalation. Starting today, it is possible to circulate freely through the health regions in the same phase or higher and it is already possible to visit the port, as well as to practice non-professional sports activities in any time slot.

Regarding nautical activities, the possibilities are again expanded compared to those of Phase 2:

  • All nautical recreational activities, with no limitations other than those of a territorial nature and preventive sanitary measures.
  • Sports and recreational navigation without exceeding 75% of the people authorized in the certificates of the boat, except if these people live together. In this case, they can occupy 100% up to a maximum of 10 people.
  • Sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle activities in the Club’s Sports Area without an appointment and at 75% capacity for groups of up to 20 people.
  • Active tourism and nature activities for groups of up to 30 people.
  • Outdoor and closed sports facilities: groups of up to 20 people and with a capacity of 50%.
  • As for non-federated professional sport, it is already allowed to hold training sessions for clubs from federated non-professional leagues. Also shows and sports activities without public and behind closed doors.
  • Boat rental and motor charter without appointment with territorial limitations and preventive sanitary measures.
  • Navigation practices to obtain nautical licenses with the general occupation limitations set.
  • Sport and recreational fishing. In the case of being accompanied, if the safety distance cannot be maintained, it is necessary to wear a mask and apply preventive sanitary measures.
  • On jet skis only one person can navigate, except if they live together.
  • La Barra del Port restaurant open with bar service available, interior seating limited to 50% and exterior seating to 75%.
  • The entry of foreign recreational boats that do not have a port of stay in Spain is not allowed, except in the case that the crew on board is solely professional.
