11.07 – The Ruta de la Tramuntana regatta returns to l’Escala!
Having been postponed due to COVID-19, the 2020 edition of the Ruta de la Tramuntana regatta will now take place on 10th and 11th July. The departure will be from the El Balís Sailing Club on Friday 10th July at 10 am, the thirty or so crews who are taking part in this route will arrive at l’Escala, filling the Empúries Sea with sails. Don’t miss the show!
11.07 – Environmental Conference
Round table: The Seabed of l’Escala in images
Come and explore the Seabed of l’Escala in images at the next round table on 11th July! The biologist Bernat Garrigós and Joan Fernández, member of the Catalan Opisthobranchia Research Group, will tell you all about it in the most didactic way.
The deadline for applying for the Blue Flag for boats and collaborating with the 2020 Blue Flag Campaign coincides with the round table date.
New initiatives at the Montgrí Nature Park and the Medes Islands
A complimentary glass of cava will be served at the end.
12.07 – Get Wet for Multiple Sclerosis
The Club is collaborating with the Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis: come and sail and contribute to this charity day. We aim to raise a donation of 1,000 Euros… our collaborating company Jotun – Olympia Group will make the first contribution of €500…would you like to help us?
18.07 – Fishing meeting
The Fishing Section of the Club is being activated on Saturday 18th July with the latest meeting of the Nautivela-Bénéteau 2019-20 Social League. We have chosen to have an Open day and we have changed the format. It will simply be a meeting of fishermen to promote the relationship between the members and users who are keen on this sport. The meeting will include a raffle among the participants.
25.07 – Sailing meeting
Do you like sail cruising? On Saturday 25th July we will be sailing together again in a new Sailing Meeting! Remember, if you don’t have your own boat you can still take part if you you sign up for the Guided Route we have programmed. Don’t miss out!
1.08 – Blue Day
Are you a Club member? We invite you come and try out the dinghy sailing, kayaking, stand up paddle and jet skis with us. Sign up and don’t miss out! You’ll be able to invite up to 4 people. Limited places available.
