The International Mediterranean Photography Competition, MedFoto 2026, has officially released the finalist images of this new edition, once again consolidating its position as a benchmark in photography linked to the Mediterranean Sea. This edition has seen strong participation, with a total of 1,332 photographs submitted by 107 participants, figures that reinforce the competition’s growth and international reach.
The finalist works reflect the international dimension of the competition, with photographers from countries such as France, Croatia, Turkey, Italy, and different regions of Spain, including Catalonia. This diversity of origins provides a plural perspective on the Mediterranean and enriches its visual narrative from both artistic and cultural viewpoints.
The finalist photographs capture the diversity of the Mediterranean through different categories, covering landscapes, biodiversity, human activities, and environmental challenges. A selection that combines aesthetics, storytelling, and sensitivity, with perspectives from different countries and contexts.
MedFoto 2026 will culminate with its final event, including the announcement of the winners and the opening of the official exhibition, on July 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM, in the Multipurpose Hall of Club Nàutic l’Escala. This event will mark the conclusion of the competition with the public presentation of the selected works. Prior registration required.
