Next May 24th is the International Day of Natural Parks and on the occasion of this day, the Natural Park of Montgrí and the Medes Islands celebrates, from May 19 to 27, the Natural Parks Week.
A few days very special to enjoy the Montgrí Natural Park from the sea. Will you join us?
Whether you have your own boat or not, we have proposals for you:
From L’Escala to l’Estartit, the Montgrí Natural Park offers us a spectacular setting to explore by sailing. The cliffs rise up and hide wonderful corners such as Cala Ferriol, Cala Pedrosa or La Foradada until you reach the Medes Islands.
Arriving by boat allows yoy to enjoy spots accessible only by sea and if your hobby is scuba diving, discover a seabed of great ecological value, exuberant fauna and flora, rock formations and caves for the most intrepid. You want to know more?
Whether you decide to enjoy it from the bottom of the sea or from its surface with a nature bath, remember to do it responsibly. Respecting the Park environment is the only way to preserve it so that future generations can also enjoy this experience.
Would you like to discover the Montgrí Natural Park from the sea but you don’t have your own boat? Come to the Club, we help you!
At the Club’s Nautical Center you will always find sports activities to enjoy the fantastic surroundings of l’Escala by kayaking, stand up paddle, dinghy sailing, cruising and coastal rowing. In addition, to celebrate Park Week, we suggest you discover the Montgrí Natural Park with stand up paddle:
From the Club, however, you can also delve into the landscapes of the Park practicing scuba diving, renting your boat or on a motor charter route thanks to the companies that collaborate with the Club.
