To encourage environmentally responsible practices among harbour users, the Club participates in the ECONàutic project, an initiative promoted by the Catalan Association of Marinas and Tourist Ports (ACPET) to foster more sustainable and environmentally friendly boating.
As part of this campaign, berth holder members and annual forfait users can collect a free recycling bag pack from the Club offices. This material is designed to make waste separation on board easier and ensure proper waste management once back in the harbour.
Protecting our marine environment also depends on the everyday actions of all of us who enjoy the sea. Proper waste separation, reducing single-use plastics, avoiding discharges into the sea and using water and energy responsibly are simple habits that help reduce the environmental impact of boating activities.
For this reason, ECONàutic provides boaters with practical tools and resources to help incorporate these good practices into their daily boating routines.
If you are a berth holder member or an annual forfait user, you can now collect your recycling bag pack free of charge at the Club offices.
With this simple action, we can work together to keep our harbour cleaner, reduce the environmental impact of boating and preserve the quality of our marine environment for future generations.
