With the arrival of September, the pace begins to change. Beaches become quieter, there are fewer people on the water, and the Sea of Empúries becomes the perfect setting to keep sailing, rowing or discovering new corners of the Costa Brava. For many sailors, autumn is one of the best times of the year. Temperatures remain pleasant, sailing conditions are often excellent and the surroundings invite you to enjoy the sea in a more relaxed way. That is why the end of summer does not mean the end of the season. At Club Nàutic L’Escala, activity continues because the sea can be enjoyed 365 days a year.
Autumn sailing offers a different way to connect with the environment around us. Coastal routes, kayak trips and sea rowing sessions provide a unique opportunity to discover the Costa Brava at a more relaxed pace. From the water, L’Escala, the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter reveal a different light and colour palette from those of summer, making every outing a unique experience.
Autumn is a great time to continue learning on the water. Whether you are taking your first steps in a nautical discipline, gaining experience or refining your technique, the Club’s Nautical Sports Centre offers activities tailored to every level and goal.
Training courses provide a learning pathway adapted to each participant. From your first experiences on the water to advanced technical improvement, you can gain knowledge, build confidence and develop greater independence while progressing in disciplines such as dinghy sailing, cruising and sea rowing.
Subscriptions are the ideal option for enjoying regular time on the water at the best price. Whether you want to reinforce what you’ve learned in a course or simply enjoy going to sea more often, memberships give you flexible access to the different disciplines offered by the School throughout the year.
